The IDF National Committee of Japan will host the IDF World Dairy Summit in Yokohama for five days from October 28th to November 1st 2013.
In this age of globalization, it is needless to say that future dairy requires cooperation among international stakeholders to deal with the problems of food supply and demand, feeds, environment, energy, and livestock’s prevention of disease and welfare. The IDF World Dairy Summit 2013 sets a theme of “Rediscovering Milk” and aims to contribute toward solving the problems in the global dairy sector and allowing them to show their industrial technology and results of basic research for discussion.
In addition, we are planning a tour of related institutions in Japan, as well as an exhibition of equipment and facilities for dairy.
We will host the summit at the end of October, best autumn season in Yokohama to spend in the nice and mild climate.
We are looking forward to welcoming as many visitors as possible to Yokohama. We intend to receive each guest with a hearty welcome.
