The National Wine Experience (NWE) is America’s premier national wine exhibition featuring wineries from over 30 states across the country. Join us for a unique, fascinating and delicious wine tasting as you sample and compare wine from traditional wine regions with smaller, artisan producers from emerging areas of the country.
The NWE will be held in the Ballroom of the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The event will showcase American wine from every region of the U.S. on April 12, 2014 and will also feature specialty food vendors, wine and food pairings, seminars and special privileges for the trade.
Please join us for the ultimate celebration of American wine!
Come participate in America's premier national wine exhibition by pouring your wines at the 2nd Annual National Wine Experience (NWE) presented by USA TODAY. The annual trade and consumer wine event will be held April 12, 2014, at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.
Over 400 wineries from over 30 states across the country will be exhibiting, in addition to specialty food purveyors and the American Cheese Society. Eventually, a few thousand American wineries are expected to exhibit as the NWE grows into one of the world's premier trade and consumer wine shows.
This event is the perfect opportunity for your winery and wine region to enhance its profile on a national stage. America has a national wine industry and is no longer limited to three or four states. The NWE will give your organization an unparalleled opportunity to show your wines to the country and the world, gaining exposure that will boost sales of wine as well as act as a catalyst to increase wine and culinary tourism to your particular wine region.
Wineries, wine regions, state wine associations and other local, state and national organizations tied to the American wine industry are encouraged to exhibit.
This is the first year the NWE will be held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Three hours will be reserved for the trade on both days of the event. Eventually, a full day or two will be reserved for the trade. Also, a major national wine competition will be integrated into the NWE. The award-winning wines will be highlighted at the NWE. Wineries that exhibit at the NWE and enter the wine competition will received a discount on their exhibitor fee and competition entry fee. Details will be announced on this website in the Fall of 2013.
Exhibitors will have several booth-size options. By December of 2013, exhibitor information will be available on this website for wineries and other organizations that want to participate in the event.
Wineries that Exhibit in 2013 will receive seniority privileges in future years.
The NWE is America's national wine show - your national wine show - and the perfect opportunity for your winery and wine region to gain exposure to a national audience on a national stage. We hope your join us for this great American wine event.
