Fourth Biopesticide International conference (BIOCICON2013) is being organized from 28 to 30 November, 2013 by Crop Protection Research Centre, Department of Zoology, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Palayamkottai, Tamil Nadu, India. This conference is in continuation of BIOCICON2007, BIOCICON2009 and BIOCICON2011 held previously in the same Institution. BIOCICON 2013 is aimed at promoting basic and applied research and development for Ecofriendly Pest and Disease Management in agriculture, horticulture and forestry with the following themes: Basic and applied aspects of Microbes, Botanicals; Natural enemies; Other Arthropod management; Bionano Materials in Pest and Disease Management and relevant aspects of Biopesticides. BIOCICON2013 is an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of original peer-reviewed contributed, review and invited articles to improve and enhance crop production and protection at all levels worldwide.
The conference provides a stimulating and informative variety of papers geared up towards innovation and practice in the hope that common information shared among a broad coalition of individuals and groups involved in science education will facilitate future efforts. In addition to works in the fields mentioned above and case studies of exemplary implementations, the conference provides opportunity for exchange of ideas amongst scholars and professionals to help reach our common goal: excellence in science and technology education.
