Introduction
FOODBEXT WEST AFRICA -2nd West Africa's Largest Food & Beverage Exhibition

WELCOME TO FOODBEXT

FOODBEXT WEST AFRICA is the largest B-2-B food & beverage show which will bring companies looking for export relationships in face to face contact with major importers, distributors, and bulk buyers from across West Africa, most of whom are coming to the show.

It is held in direct collaboration with NATIONAL AGENCY FOR FOOD & DRUGS ADMNISTRATION & CONTROL (NAFDAC) which is the primary institution that regulates the local production and importation of food, beverage and pharmaceutical products into Nigeria.

For companies with existing business relationships, it is opportunity to meet with customers, size up competition and deepen brand power

FOODBEXT will be co-located with another show AGRIKEXPO (agricultural products/services) since both industries are closely related for synergistic benefits to visitors and exhibitors alike.

The imminent threat of food insecurity in Sub-Saharan Africa has created cause for boosted food supply and governments are interested in encouraging new business tangents, particularly as regards domestic production capacities.

At the first edition of the event held recently (Nov. 2012) more than 5000 major trade buyers (manufacturers, importers, other merchants) from various countries in West Africa and other parts of Africa visited. Many more are expected at the 2013 edition and registrations have already started.

It will be such a premium opportunity because survey shows that many F&B, AGRIC, AND HORECA Industry players are already looking forward to the event with a lot of optimism.

The demand for F&B/AGRIC products in West Africa runs into billions of dollars annually and it is expected to grow by a 4% figure, as the markets evolve.

Being the first F&B industry specific show, FOODBEXT is a must - attend for discerning foreign companies who would easily meet new buyers.

FOODBEXT will provide a comfortable and credible ambience for exhibiting companies and [lans have been made for extensive media for qualitative visitor turnout.
