Having started in 2004, soon FENACAM stood out and established itself as the premier event of shrimp farming in Brazil, so that the year 2013 will be celebrated with much emphasis, its 10th edition, which since 2007 has included aquaculture, especially the Aquaculture and Mariculture, in the midst of its major events. So that the `13 FENACAM involve the X International Symposium on Shrimp Farming in conjunction with the VII International Symposium on Aquaculture , the X International Fair of Products and Services for Aquaculture and the X Gastronomic Festival of Fruits of the Sea
Annually FENACAM already constitutes an event of outstanding technical and business importance for Brazilian aquaculture, bringing its main actors and involving the public sector, academic and business (micro, small, medium and large producers), representing an excellent opportunity to updating of knowledge, interaction between the main actors of this sector and dissemination of products, raw materials and services related to the Brazilian aquaculture.
In condition of most important event of Aquaculture in Brazil and Latin America, the great challenge of FENACAM is always present an updated schedule and diverse, with a view to attract the participation of the main actors of this important supply chain, involving service providers, vendors goods sector, researchers and students related to engineering courses Fisheries aquaculture and other formations of senior and middle level, as well as mainly producers of shrimp, fish and shellfish from around the country, including in this context the micro and small producers of fish and shrimp.
The FENACAM'13, which will be a commemorative date ten (10) years of successful achievement, the expectation is that we can foster a great event, for which we are already working on extending programming technique in order to meet the demands of all links in the Brazilian aquaculture, considering the opportunities for this strategic sector of the economy primary Brazilian Harvest Plan in Aquaculture and Fisheries, recently launched by President Dilma Rousseff and Minister Marcelo Crivelli (MPA).
