"Expo Pesca & AcuiPeru" is the only international event specialized in Fisheries and Aquaculture, that is organized in Peru every two years since 2003.
Exhibitors are Suppliers of Equipment, Supplies and Services for Fisheries and Aquaculture from all over the world, while Visitors are Fishing and Aquaculture Businessmen from Peru and Latin America.
This event also present the Exportable Offer of Fresh, Frozen, Dried Salt and Canned Fish and Seafood, as well as Fishmeal and Fishoil to International Importers, presenting new products and brands.
The Peruvian market of Equipments and Services for Fisheries and Aquaculture is very big and competitive, with a large number of brands from local and foreign suppliers.
Peru has a generally open market. There are no significant barriers or limitations on imports and foreign currency is freely exchanged.
Import of Fishery and Aquaculture equipment, as well as Seafood are subject to a 12 percent tariff levied on the CIF value (Cost, Insurance and Freight) of mercandise, plus 18 percent General Sales Tax (IGV).
However, the samples for exhibition in this event can be temporarily imported into Peru without paying import duties or without presenting Bank Drafts.
A Technical Conference Program will be also held during the frame of Expo Pesca & AcuiPeru and it is addressed to Directors, Managers, Assistant Managers, Supervisors and specialized personnel of the industry of Fishery and Aquaculture.
It is expected around 9,500 visitors.
The organizer of this event is Thais Corporation S.A.C., a Peruvian company organized in 1991 that has been qualified by the Peruvian Foreign Export and Tourism Ministry (MINCETUR) as an International Trade Fair Organization and has a large experience in International Trade Fairs and Specialized Seminars.
Thais Corporation S.A.C. has the Vicepresidence of the Peruvian Trade Fair Association (AFEP) and has professionals highly specialized in trading of Fishmeal, Fishoil, Frozen and Canned Fish.
