About the Hospitality India 2013 - Exhibition
-The Hospitality India Exhibition & Bakerytech India exhibition is into its 3rd Edition. This is the only premier exhibition for the Hospitality, Bakery & Food Industry for the entire region. From 1000 sq mt in its 1st edition, the exhibition has grown to 3500 sq. mt in the 2nd edition. The organizers are expecting the 3rd edition to be even bigger with an expected area of 7000 sq. mt.

Hospitality Industry :
The Hospitality Industry is a major service sector in the world economy. Indian Hospitality industry is projected to grow at a rate of 8.8 per cent during 2007-16, placing India as the second-fastest growing tourism market in the world. According to industry data, India is expected to double the number of branded hotel rooms from 100,000 now in just three years. Leading the pack is global hotel chains, which will add over 300 hotel properties (an estimated 55,000 rooms) in the country by 2013, as per data compiled by companies.
Food & Beverage Industry :
India is the world's second largest producer of food next to China, and has the potential of being the biggest with the food and agricultural sector. The total food production in India is likely to double in the next ten years and there is an opportunity for large investments in food and beverages Industry.
Bakery Industry :
Bakery Industry in India is the largest of the food industries with an annual turnover of about Rs. 3000 crores. India is the 2nd largest producers of biscuits after USA Bread and Biscuits form the major baked foods accounting for over 80% of total bakery produced in the country. Bakery units are unevenly spread among states. These are mainly concentrated in the states of AndhraPradesh, West Bengal and Karnataka.
Sweets & Snacks Industry :
The sweets & snacks industry is a large niche player in the global retail food market. Since the ommercializations of making sweets, which started in the late 19th century, the industry has evolved from being a sector composed mainly of many small players into a large market niche that is made up of mid-size and huge sweets makers and suppliers.
