Wine & Spirits Asia (WSA) began in the year 1988 as a part of Food & Hotel Asia (FHA). It is an international exhibition of wine and spirits that aims to actively promote the industry in this thriving region. In the year 2010, WSA grew to become an event of its own, co-located along FHA, with a dedicated platform to better serve the growing demands of the wine and spirits industry in Asia.
Come 8 – 11 April 2014, the 13th edition, WSA will boast a stronger presentation of international wines and spirits than ever before, with a projected exhibition area of 7,000sqm and 200 exhibitors from 25 countries/regions. 4 group pavilions from Australia, Austria, France and Singapore are also expected to showcase a wide array of products and a host of new labels.
In addition to the exhibition, the 23,000 trade visitors who are expected to arrive from over 75 countries/regions can also look forward to a host of networking opportunities with exhibitors; more wine-related events such as wine tasting, seminars and workshops; the adrenaline-pumping RIPE-WSA Cocktail Challenge 2014; and not to mention the chance to savour the winning wines of the WSA Wine Challenge 2014.
Wine & Spirits Asia 2012 – A Resounding and Bubbly Success
The 12th edition of Wine&SpiritsAsia (WSA2012), held from 17-20 April 2012 at the Singapore Expo, concluded on an all-time high note. Attracting a total of 22,818 trade attendees from 82 countries/regions, the 4-day event was truly an international gathering of professionals in the wine, spirits and related industries.
With an expanded exhibition area of 7,000 sqm, the 22,066 trade visitors who have converged from 79 countries/regions were treated to a wider and finer selection of wines, spirits and related accessories. Including the 5 group pavilions representing Austria, Australia, France and Singapore, a total of 143 exhibitors from 27 countries/regions showed no let-up in their efforts to engage and entice eager buyers, with many clinking glasses and letting the products do the talking.
