China International Beverage Industry Exhibition on Science &Technology (CBST),successfully held for four times, has become “a grand party for professional buyers and sellers of the beverage industry ”.”The unique professional visitors and exhibitors, has reached the international advanced level”, the high praises from the exhibitors , are exactly the starting point and motive of CBST2011.
As the exclusive professional exhibition on science and technology of the Chinese beverage industry,CBST2009 showed the trend of sustainable development. Companies from over 10 countries and regions including UK, Germany, USA, Japan, France, Italy, Spain, Austria and Switzerland participated in CBST2009 with an exhibition area of 19000 m2, doubled that of CBST2007.
Professional Visitors to CBST
Professional buyers from 43 countries attended CBST2009.Visitors from Asia, Europe and Africa accounted for 82% of all the visitors, and those from 20 Asian countries possessed 50%.Visitors form Korea, Japan, and Russia showed the greatest enthusiasm, being the top 4 countries in the number of visitors.
The number of visitors from beverage enterprises accounted for 61.3% of the total, and those from enterprises’ decision –making and management sections got a percentage of 72%.The number of visitors planning to purchase and order, looking for cooperation opportunities and researching the market made the proportion over 80%
Prospect of CBST 2013
In order to promote technology development of beverage industry continually,CBST2011 will be held in The Expo Theme Pavilion in Nov.6-8,2011.With joint efforts from the Chinese beverage industry, the exhibition area has been enlarged to 25000 m2. In CBST2011, The presentation of total solutions ,from raw and subsidiary materials, technology and equipment to plant design, will be intensified, emphasizing the science/technology-oriented characteristics of the beverage industries chain and extending the display and service for equipment to other liquid products continuously. The science/technology-centered characteristics of the whole industrial chain will be emphasized to meet the enterprises’ requirements for the improvements in food safety, energy-conservation and consumption- reduction, and production efficiency.
Special visits will still be arranged for beverage enterprise senior executive during CBST2011.CBST is an important platform where people from beverage enterprises come to understand the scientific and technological advances of the industry, and where beverage manufactures look for excellent suppliers.
Focusing upon the theme of scientific and technological innovations, the Organizing Committee will continue to hold professional events during CBST 2013, including domestic/foreign industrial meetings, specialist forums, the Science and Technology Seminar, technical trainings and
