2012 China (Guangzhou) International Wine & Spirits Fair （WineFair）
-WINEFAIR is the short name of China (Guangzhou) International Wine & Spirits Fair, which is jointly organized by the China Council for the promotion of International Trade Guangdong Sub-Council and Guangzhou Fuya Exhibition Co.,Ltd.WINEFAIR is a sister exhibition of WINEXPO (China International Wine & Spirits exhibition),the famous wine exhibition in South China,which is held in summer each year.
It was born with the background of rapid growth of wine& Spirits consumption in China.According to statistics, China has ranked as the No.1 country in consuming wine in Asia; China’s current wine consumption has reached 105 million liters per year, with an increase of 27.63% for wine and 27.2% for spirits.
WINEFAIR is a market-orientated professional trade fair,it is aiming to build a real trade platform for Wine Manufacturers, Wine importers, Wine distributors, Supermarkets etc. This year, WINEFAIR will be held at the same time with the third phase of Canton Fair at the same place,
which is the biggest trade fair in China. At that time, almost 200 thousand visitors from all over the world to visit Canton fair ,which can provide you an enormous business opportunities.

China is a great consuming country with a population of more than 1.3 billion and the fastest developing country in the world’s economic. As consuming ability grows up,all kinds of imported alcoholic drinks and wines have began to enter into normal families.Wine’s consumption grows up by over 3% every year over the same period of the previous year.At present, China’s wine & spirits consumption account for 23% of the world’s total consumption,making China one of the biggest wine consuming market in the world.
Guangzhou---The biggest showcase of wine
♦Guangdong province, where capital city Guangzhou located, is the most dynamic economic region in China today. The GDP of Guangdong Province in 2007 reached CNY 3.0606 trillion, with a growth rate of 14.5%, exceeding the average value of “four small dragons” in Asia (Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, and Korea). Guangdong has large consumption ability in liquor.
♦According to 2007 statistics, the amount of the annual consumption of liquor in Guangdong up to 26 billion, of which red wine, wines, and spirits accounted for 23% of country's total consumptions, liquor annual consumption reach 700 thousand tons, the annual beer market consumption reach up to more than 2 million tons.
♦There are 130000 enterprises engaged in liquor trade in Guangdong, with the open concept to market, a huge consumer groups, a variety of consumer-level, high consumption potential, as well as tolerance consumption concept.
